As storage facilities are not responsible for your property in the event of damage or loss, our rental agreement requires that each tenant maintain insurance coverage on their stored property.
If you plan on using your Homeowner’s Policy, it is important to know that your belongings in a storage unit may not be covered the same way as those things in your home.
Depending on your policy, your stored belongings may have limited coverage and will be subject to the terms of the policy including any deductible.
If you choose to use your own insurance in place of our “Secure Lease Program”, please provide a copy of the declaration page of your policy to our store rental office within 3 days of your rental and your “Secure Lease Program” protection can be removed from your account at your request.
Please note, Secure Lease Program protection is ONLY available for storage units, not parking spaces.

During the online rental process, tenants are required to select one protection option being offered to ensure coverage at the start of the rental agreement.
